PT Cetta Cita Cendekia, as the owner and operator of the Cetta Online Class website and application (“Cetta” or “We”), understands and upholds the protection of the privacy of user data. The personal information of users when registering for Cetta’s programs and classes, along with activity records when using services on the Cetta website and application (“Personal Data”), will be recorded and stored on the platform and kept confidential.
When users contact us, we keep a record of that correspondence and the contents of the communication between users and us.
When accessing and/or using and/or registering for programs or classes on our platform and/or application, if the user is under 18 (eighteen) years old, please ensure you have discussed this Privacy Policy with your parents, guardians, or caregivers in agreeing to this Privacy Policy.
Agreement includes consent to all practices conducted on Personal Data as mentioned in the Privacy Policy, including but not limited to the process of obtaining and collecting Personal Data, processing and analyzing Personal Data, storing, displaying, processing, recording, announcing, transmitting, disseminating, and/or granting access, modifying, updating, and deleting and/or destroying all Personal Data in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable laws and regulations in Indonesia.
The confidentiality of accounts and passwords is the responsibility of each user. We are not responsible for any losses that may result from user negligence in maintaining the confidentiality of passwords.
Personal Data We Collect
The personal data we collect and store includes but is not limited to:
Personal Information Provided by Users:
When users download or register for programs or classes on the Cetta website and application through third-party forms (e.g., tally.io, Google Forms), they directly provide information, including but not limited to:
- Information related to account creation, such as user name, national identity number, address, email address, phone number, password.
- Child Data
- Financial data related to transactions when users purchase programs on the Cetta website and application.
- Information when users contact us.
- Information when users use the Cetta website and application, such as asking questions in the comment section, participating in discussions, and taking tests.
- Other data according to the definition of Personal Data in accordance with applicable laws and regulations in Indonesia.
- When users submit or send their job applications to us through our career pages, we collect information including but not limited to the full name, phone number, email, cover letter, personal resume, and any other files uploaded to our servers.
This information is collected with the user’s permission and can be used to contact the user from time to time, to provide important information, notifications required for the implementation of programs of interest to the user, and information on program offers relevant to the programs the user is interested in on our platform.
Personal Information We Collect Automatically:
We have the right to collect information automatically each time users visit the Cetta website and application, which includes but is not limited to:
- Technical information, including the internet protocol (IP) address used to connect the user’s computer to the internet, user login information, browser type and version, time zone setting, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and application, and mobile device type.
- Information about user visits, including a complete list of uniform resource locators (URLs) visited to, through, and from the Cetta website and application (including date and time), products viewed or searched by users, page response times, downloads, length of visits to certain pages on the website and application, page interaction information, exit process from the Cetta website and application, and the phone number used by the user when contacting our customer service.
- User value data, including user test results and other academic scores obtained through the Cetta website and application.
Information We Collect from Other Sources:
We have the right to collect user information when users use other websites or applications that we manage, either independently or in collaboration with third parties (including but not limited to, for example, referral programs, business partners, subcontractors in technical services, payment and delivery services, advertising services, analysis providers). We will take reasonable steps to verify the information we collect from other sources in accordance with applicable laws and regulations in Indonesia.
For registration forms for our programs or classes, we use third-party services like tally.io or Google Forms. While these third parties have their own privacy policies, we may still access the personal information you provide on these forms and keep it for administrative purposes.
Use of Personal Data
We have the right to use the personal data we receive with the user’s permission for:
- Administering, verifying, and managing user accounts on the Cetta website and application.
- Providing information, products, and services to users, including but not limited to information on Cetta application updates, changes to our products, services, or services.
- Managing and processing all forms of gifts, vouchers, or similar items that users receive when using the Cetta website and application.
- Developing, testing, improving, and personalizing the website and application to meet user needs and preferences.
- Internal needs related to research, promotion of new services, special offers, or other information, where we may contact users via email, letter, phone, fax, or chat applications.
- Requesting users to complete surveys for research or other purposes, although users do not have to respond.
- Communicating directly with users.
- Managing and processing job applications for our hiring process. We will store job application data in our database for this purpose.
We will use user personal data with the same level of care, but in each case no less than a reasonable level of care, as used in our own comparable business dealings to maintain and protect the confidentiality of all personal data.
Users agree that Cetta will not be responsible for any security breaches related to messages, information, or documents sent by users over the internet outside our platform and application.
Disclosure of Personal Data
We guarantee that there will be no sale, transfer, distribution, or lending of user personal information/data to other third parties without the user’s permission, except in the following cases:
- There is a change in our company’s ownership structure, including but not limited to acquisitions or mergers, then user personal data may be disclosed, and/or transferred by law, to the merged company or the acquiring company.
- There is a legal obligation that requires us to disclose user information, including but not limited to court orders or other authorized institutions.
When users visit/access/download/fill the form or engage in any activity on our platform, they automatically agree with our privacy policy and our terms and conditions.
Storage and Processing of Personal Data
Referring to Law Number 27 of 2022 concerning Personal Data Protection (“PDP Law”), the Cetta platform can function in the role of Personal Data Controller and/or Personal Data Processor in the Processing of Personal Data in accordance with the provisions of the PDP Law.
When users submit personal data on the Cetta website and application, it means that users agree to the transfer, storage, management, processing, recording, modification, updating, as well as deletion and/or destruction of personal data that occurs on our website and application. Every personal data we receive is stored on a secure network. We will always strive to maintain and protect the security of user personal data and monitor every party involved in the processing of personal data under our control in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable laws and regulations in Indonesia, including the PDP Law and its implementing regulations.
User Rights
Users can request changes, updates, deletions, and/or destruction of their personal data on the platform or withdraw their consent for any or all collection, use, or disclosure of their personal data by notifying us by contacting our customer service on the contact page. Upon receiving user notification to withdraw consent for the collection, use, or disclosure of their personal data, we will inform users about the possible consequences of such withdrawal so that users can decide whether to proceed with the withdrawal or not.
Intellectual Property Rights
Our intellectual property rights are registered and protected by laws related to intellectual property rights. All data related to the personal data that users submit, provide, transmit, upload, or make available when using our platform or application remains the property of the users.
Changes to the Privacy Policy
Cetta reserves the right to change, modify, add, or rearrange the Privacy Policy from time to time and any changes will be displayed on this page. Notifications regarding changes will be communicated via email or notifications on the application or platform and other media. By continuing to use the site and application after any changes, modifications, and/or additions and subtractions, users give consent regarding all such matters.
